The results for this spring’s Noetic Learning Math Contest represent far more than just numbers on a page; they are a clear reflection of the environment we cultivate at Vanguard Gifted Academy. Comparing our Spring 2026 results to the Fall 2025 session, we’ve seen remarkable growth in both team engagement and individual problem-solving proficiency. This upward trajectory is a direct result of our mission to guide gifted children toward a life of discovery, empowerment, and innovation. By nurturing strong mental habits and tackling complex, creative problems together, our students are proving they can reach beyond their current abilities to achieve incredible success
Our students recently demonstrated incredible persistence and logic during the 2026 Pi Math Contest and the Math Jams online competition. From our Band One learners building digital fluency to our Band Two students tackling the rigorous Euler division, the Vanguard community celebrated a season of high-level problem-solving. A special congratulations goes to Benton, who earned a Bronze Certificate for placing in the top tier of participants nationwide. Whether on paper or online, our students proved that at Vanguard Gifted Academy, the journey of "learning how to think" is just as rewarding as the final score.
At Vanguard Gifted Academy, we believe mathematical growth is about the courage to tackle non-routine problems that demand creativity and originality. This year, our students participated in the Noetic Learning Math Contest, a national competition where 75% of our students increased their scores between the fall and spring sessions. By embracing the "productive struggle," our young mathletes are proving that perseverance and critical thinking are the ultimate rewards of a challenging education.
World Maths Day is the world’s largest online maths competition, uniting over 10 million students from more than 160 countries. This global celebration of learning has been a staple in education since 2007.
