Is your child looking for more than just a typical summer camp experience? At Vanguard Gifted Academy, we believe summer is the perfect season for high-density discovery. This June and July, we are launching Innovation Odyssey 2026—a six-week journey where world cultures meet cutting-edge engineering.
Why the "Odyssey" is Unique
Most summer programs focus on recreation; we focus on integrated exploration. We bridge the gap between school years by maintaining a high staff-to-student ratio (1:8) and providing a sophisticated STREAM environment that challenges gifted and high-ability learners.
🌎 6 Weeks, 6 Destinations
Each week, our students "travel" to a new global region, using its heritage as a springboard for engineering and art.
Week 1: China – Architecture and Geotechnical engineering (building modular bridges).
Week 2: India – Geometric art and Chemical engineering (the science of Mehendi).
Week 3: North America – Indigenous ingenuity and Environmental engineering (hydro-systems).
Week 4: Ghana – Mechanical engineering and the history of communication (printing presses).
Week 5: Ecuador – Industrial engineering in the Andes (pulley and cable systems).
Week 6: Central America – Eco-innovation and sustainable urban planning.

We’ve packed the daily schedule with the tools and mentorship that high-ability students crave:
3D Printing & Robotics: Students don’t just watch technology; they master it. Using our Bambu 3D printers, campers design and manufacture their own architectural components and musical instruments.
Daily Math Competition Prep: We keep logic skills sharp with daily Math Circles and practice for the Noetic and Math Kangaroo competitions.
Cultural Immersion: From Mandarin to Twi to Spanish, students explore the languages and music that define our global community.
FREE Gifted Screenings: Every camper receives a free, informal gifted screening during their session—providing you with expert insight into your child’s academic profile.
