Problem Solving and Perseverance: Celebrating Our Fall 2025 Noetic Math Success

At Vanguard Gifted Academy, we believe that mathematics is about much more than rote memorization—it is about the thrill of the challenge. This fall, our students put their skills to the test in the Fall 2025 Noetic Learning Math Contest, competing alongside 33,223 students from school teams across the country.

We are incredibly proud of the effort, grit, and passion for problem-solving our students demonstrated during this rigorous national competition.

A Global Perspective

Mathematics is a universal language, and this fall, our engagement went beyond national borders. We were thrilled to host a guest student from Italy who participated in the contest alongside our local Vanguard students. This international collaboration highlights the broad reach of the academy and the shared joy of mathematical discovery.

Individual and Team Honors

We are excited to recognize the top performers and teams who achieved exceptional results this season.

A Message from our Head of School

"I am incredibly proud that our students participated in the Noetic Math Competition. This contest focuses on fun problems that are more like riddles and require true problem-solving, not just rote memorization. For us, it’s not primarily about the scores; it’s about taking on this challenge now and focusing on improving their own score in the spring. If a student solved one problem this time, the goal is to try for two or three next time. We commend all our students for their effort and their willingness to embrace this challenging, yet rewarding, experience."
