We are excited to welcome City of St. Charles Mayor Clint Hull to Vanguard Gifted Academy on Wednesday, September 16, 2026!

Mayor Hull will meet with our students to share firsthand insights into local government leadership, civic responsibility, and what it takes to serve and guide a thriving city. This special visit directly connects with our classroom curriculum across student bands:

• Band One (Community Studies): Students will explore how local government functions, the roles and responsibilities of community leaders, and how citizens work together to build strong neighborhoods.

• Band Two (Cultural Universals): Students will examine how governance, leadership structures, and civic systems serve as universal elements of human societies and cultures across history and the modern world.

During the visit, students will have the opportunity to engage in a dynamic Q&A session, ask questions about city governance, and learn how leadership shapes our broader regional community.
