Join us at Vanguard Gifted Academy for our Spring Showcase! This event celebrates the hard work and incredible discoveries our students have made during the fourth quarter. It is a wonderful opportunity to see our dynamic curriculum come to life through student projects and presentations.

Our students have been exploring fascinating topics across their learning bands:

Band One

• Social Studies & Science: Students have taken a deep dive into the geography, climate, and diverse regions of the United States. For each region, students have completed a dedicated STREAM project that includes a corresponding art piece. In addition, our young meteorologists have been documenting the weather daily in their journals, using graphs and data tracking to actively analyze local climate patterns.

Band Two

• Social Studies: Students journeyed through 19th-century American history. They explored the Louisiana Purchase and Westward Expansion, examined the complexities of the Civil War and Reconstruction, and analyzed the profound legacy of the 1800s, including immigration, industrialization, and reform movements.

• Science: Our young scientists investigated the fundamental building blocks of matter. They learned to differentiate between physical and chemical changes, experimented with mixtures and solutions, and tackled complex chemistry concepts including atoms, molecules, compounds, and the periodic table.
