Vanguard Gifted will be at the free community dinner to play games with the people who come for dinner. It will be at Bethany Lutheran Church at 8 South Lincoln Street, Batavia, IL 60510 on August 28th from 5-6:30 PM. If you want to stop by just for the games, we ask that you bring a dessert to top off the dinner. If you are coming for the community dinner or just coming for the games, we look forward to seeing everyone there supporting the community.

If you want to learn more about the community dinners, this is what is written on the Bethany Lutheran Church website: A free dinner is served to our Community on the last Friday of each month from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.​ A wonderful array of meals are prepared and cooked at Bethany for service to all who would enjoy a delicious, free meal and fellowship. Dinner includes a main course, vegetable, side dish, our famous sundae bar, and baked goods. Carry-out dinners are available. Currently, we cook for between 100 and 300 people, and the Community Supper is completely supported by free-will donations. The table is set...We'll provide the food...You provide the appetite!
