Our students are kicking off the school year with an exciting problem-solving challenge! During the week of September 21–25, 2026, Vanguard Gifted Academy students will participate in the national Start of the Year Math Jam (hosted by Math Jams) during regular school hours.

Math Jams are interactive, team-based math challenges designed to show students that tackling difficult problems can be creative, joyful, and deeply engaging. Working together in small teams, our students will collaborate on puzzles, cryptarithms, and logic challenges arranged across varying levels of difficulty. It is a fantastic way to build teamwork, foster mathematical communication, and celebrate creative problem-solving right from the start of the year!
